not eating?

My 2 tank raised perc. are not eating. I am trying to give them formula 2 but they seem not to like it. They run after the food when i put it in and they taste it but then they spit it right out. should i be feeding them something else?

How long have you had them?
Yes, go ahead and try something else. Percs once comfortable with thier enviroment will eat almost anything.
If live food is available such as live brine try that. Live foods will get many fish to start eating.
Once they start eating try some of the frozen foods again such as enriched brine or the formula products as they are much more nutritious then live brine.

ive had them for about 2 weeks now. they are very healthy and they really go after the food but then they spit it out like they dont like it.

you might also want to try soaking the food in garlic. Sometimes that will entice finicky fish to eat.
