Not for the squeamish - anemone gone bad

I was at the lfs today telling the owner about this and one of the customers has the exact same problem, however he knows that the anemone got his tang while it was alive!
And the pictures looked almost identical, except he said that his ate only the head and spit the rest out which I beleive is the exact opposite of your story.

ive been wanting a yellow tang, you could have sent him to me rather than endangering his life in that death trap of a tank.
