Some people say that using that stuff is the same thing as using agar. sand, and some also say that they have success with it! However, I cannot recommend it because even if you swift out all metals, it does not always contain arag. which is vital. Saltwater is a very expensive hobby I am sure you know, my opinion is that you don't want to take a chance on that type of sand because it can cost you a lot money and time. Do it right the first time and you won't regret!
