Not sure what this is.

Funny I just that answer at my LFS in Asheville. Thanks. Right now it is doing well. Should this be on rock or sand? I have always had it sitting on live rock. Just wondering which is better. Also it is high in the tank but doesn't seem to do any different high or low in the tank. Thoughts?

I think they're growth is about as fast as watching paint dry and someone coming along every few minutes to spray mist on it. I usually see most people putting them on the sand or low, if you want it on the rock where it is I wouldn't see much of a problem, just check to see if you're getting any growth at all. Like I said they're SLOW so it might take awhile until it tells you it's happy or not.

It's hard to tell how much it has grown over the past few years. Some weeks it's larger than other weeks sometimes it shrinks a little. I had a dog faced puffy that thought it tasted good. No longer he is gone and this bad boy has finally started to come back
