i just happened to come downstairs in my living room and heard a water gushing sound.....the hose came off the pump blowing the water all over...lost 25 gallons of water....today i reconnected the hose with 4 zip straps....about 20 gallons went through the floor through to the basement....i was wondering if there is something i can do to support the bottom of the glass tank...its on a stand wooden stand or something in case the glass breaks to keep 220 gallons of water from pouring out....i was wondering i can can glue a acrylic piece to the bottom for extra support

if the glass breaks i think ur s crewed. not much u can do about it. the only way to be totally safe is put ur tank in the bathtub
...happy to hear the fish were safe tho

On the possitive side(yes there is one
) at least it happened while you were awake and stopped it before all 220g pumped out while you slept.

Sorry for your trouble. As stated above, if breaks your s crewed.

I don't see why it should break thould?
