has anyone had any problems with these lights? I just bought one about 4 days ago and my actnict lights will flash on and thats it. My day lights are working fine. It is the 48'' light with the 2 day lights and 2 actnic lights

no problems with mine. try turning the bulbs back in place. maybe they are loose???

I have had mine now for 5 months with no problems. Check the bulbs and make sure they are tight.

tried it. Took them out completely and still just flashing when i turn the switch on and thats it.

One other thing to try is to swap out all the actinics w/the 10K ones just to make sure you don't have a bad bulb or two.
Is it a new fixture? if so get it repaired/replaced under warranty. If you bought it used, unplug it and check for loose wiring and if that looks good then you could try swapping the ballasts themselves. If the problem travels to the other lights as I bet it will, then you can go ahead and order a new ballast. If the problem does not travel, then the switch could be bad.
Safety note: don't mess with the electrics unless you have experience doing so. It's not that hard, if you do have that experience, but miswiring could be dangerous. Don't take it apart of mess with it if it is new and under warranty-that will be a problem if you have to return it to the manufacturer.

its a brand new light system. I will try taking the bulbs out and switching them.

its the bulbs they are brand new. didn't even last a week!

Another note on your light fixture problem-a bad ballast can damage a bulb to the point where it won't work anymore.
