Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I recently got interested in SW and I want to do an aggressive tank. I went to the LFS and this is what they sold me.
50 gal
Fluval 304
50lbs CC
I plan on adding 40-50lbs LR soon
I have a feeling that this set up will not be enough filtration. Anyone have some suggestions? Its been cycling with 2 damsels for a week and every thing is fine so far.
Also what aggressive type fish are compatible with clean up type inverts. If none are compatible what methods do you use to keep the substrate etc. clean.
Thanks in advance for your advice :)

I don't trust any inverts in with my guys-though someone may know of something--you didn't mention exactly what aggressive fish your planning on so it's hard to say for sure. I vacuum my bed thoroughly at each change.
Good Luck

There are a couple of aggressive fish you can keep in a 50 a saddle, or spotted puffer, maybe a green wolf eel, and a dwarf lion ( fuzzy or a fu manchu). As for your filteration I would add a skimmer, that would help out alot, a prizm would work great. 50 pounds of lr would help out alot, I would get it into the tank as soon as you can if it is not cured then you will cycle all over again. This is a great place to ask question and learn alot. Good Luck

ya ls would help out a bunch maybe a eel (snowflake or greenwolf) a valentini/dogface/starstripes or saddleback puffer would work which a small to medium sized lion or even a humahumanukunukua'apua trigger (huma huma or picasso). <img src="graemlins//uhuh.gif" border="0" alt="[U-Huh]" />
