Now that I have made the switch from....

Now that I have made the switch from CC to Live Sand, are there any creatures that I should stay away from? I know Horseshoe crabs, anything else?

Some starfish will deplete a bed. I think it would easier to just say what you were thinking of getting.

I would get that bugger out, he is sifting the sand to eat your critters in the sand bed.... that is a bad thin.

Not really thinking of anything to get right now, just didn't want to make a mistake later. Thanks for the input.

Yes I would say it is, you want the critter.. meaning baby stars, pods etc. These are what does the bulk of breaking down waste in the tank, regardless if it's a dsb or not.

yeah. i had a sand sifting star for a while. big mistake. he cleaned up my sand bed fast. yeah they are so cool to watch, but i want the cirtters and sand life!

That's why they are sifting...to find and eat the "Live" in the sand.
