NSW composition

I found this site that has the composition of sea water. http://www.seafriends.org.nz/oceano/seawater.htm. What's interesting is that we aquarists dont measure S, K, and Br even though they exist in significant concentration. Because they exist, some sort of lifeform must use it. Also, it is interesting to see Nitrogen ion being 15ppm & silicon is 2.9. Are these number related to the no4 and silicate?... hmm... just a though...
Hydrogen H2O, 110000ppm
Oxygen H2O, 883000ppm
Sodium NaCl, 10800ppm
Chlorine NaCl, 19400ppm
Magnesium Mg, 1290ppm
Sulfur S, 904ppm
Potassium K, 392ppm
Calcium Ca, 411ppm
Bromine Br, 67ppm
Nitrogen ion, 15.5ppm
Silicon Si, 2.9ppm
Phosphorus P, 0.088ppm
Iodine I, 0.064ppm

That normal to me. 3.5% or 35 o/oo (parts per thousand).

I am sure nsw is 3.5% salt. NWS has 400 ppm of calcium. You are saying there is more calcium then salt in sea water?
For example, for every 1 gallon, you put it .5 cup of salt. 1 gallon = 16 cups...
.5 / 16 = .03125... that's 3.125%.

I beg pardon, I was talking about salinity and I typed incorrectly it should be 35 ppt parts per trillion. So the o/oo is right for ~3.5%. don't know where my brain drifted off too.
