Did you get the nudibranch at a LFS? I've never seen one in a LFS, and have wanted one, but know nothing about them. Any information you may have would help. T4AH

I asked my LFS about them, he told me that they are really cool creatures, but they are extremely fragile and hardly ever make it past 1wk of life in captivity. I'm not sure if anyone else can verify this information, but so far thats all i know about them.

I have three of them in my 90g reef. Ive had them for about 3 months now. The I see them everyonce in a while roaming on the rocks and glass. They also like to go down into the sump so about once every other week I have to get them out of the sump and place them back into the tank

I was told that they are a newer species in the salt water trade. I also read that there captive lifespan is about a year. In the wild is like 1 and a half years.

they are weak.
if you have power head, power filter
those nudibrances will say good bye in no time
I have 4 of them in the past. I found 1 in the power filter (Emperor 400), 1 in the skimmer and no sign for the other 2. I'm guessing that my crabs have eat them.
I would not add any of them in my tank again. What a way to waste money.
Some of them are required algea and some required flatworms in their diet.
for the Lettuce Nudibranch(Lettuce Slug)
Herbivorous, green algea and photosynthetic (Julian Sprung)
Maybe someone else have better experience :)
