Nudibranches

Is there any method of sustaining a Nudibranch by itself in an aquarium?
I understand that Nudis have a poor track record in being kept, but I can't find any information on a species-only tank. Would it then be possible to sustain enough coral/sponges to keep it alive?
I'm not optimistic about this, but any personal experiences would be appreciated.

You could probably pull it off with a letteuce nudi, im pretty sure their main diet is algea. So, all youd need was a tank with a lot of live rock, and something to make algea grow, and no powerheads or anything it could get stuck in.

the survival of nudibranches are best in a species only tank if you can provide it with its specialty needs. but , very inefficient imo

We have a very little one that showed up on the glass one day. He used to be very small but has grown a little in our tank. I would guess he is a Algea eater since we did not have anything in the tank at the start for him to eat. He is still small but has gotten a little bigger, is purple and has a orange/black kinda strip down his back. He has little rabbit looking ears and looks kinda like a worm. I hope he makes it it seems to get around the tank and stays out of the power heads. I mostly see him on the LR or on the Glass.

Well, I've read some semi-positive things about Lettuce Nudibranches, the first being that they have an identified food source, Bryopsis (hair?) algae. Has anyone kept a Lettuce Nudi?

You could do a sea hare. But i would suggest about 30g as they can get big-ish. Plus they come in a veriety of colors. Algea eater so you would have to buy algea for it. Things like cheato and halamida.

We setup the tank in Feb and got the live rock chunks in Mar. So I guess he came in on one of the rocks. I just saw him two days ago on the back glass. He is pretty funny looking when he gets blasted from the power head and his little rabbit ears go flailing in the current.

Ok.
Actually, the Lettuce Nudibranch isn't really a Nudibranch at all. Apparently it's more of a Sea Hare, so it is herbivorous.

So I can't imagine them needing a 30g. Without any other inhabitants, wouldn't a 10g be just fine?
On the other hand, I don't know how I'd get along without a powerhead or, apparently, a filter.
