Nudibranchia

I was looking to get a lettuce leaf nudibranch to eat my hair algae. Will it be ok with a green BTA and star polyps?

Well I had several Blue Velvet Nudibranchs in my tank with several BTA's and brown star polyps, but those are not your concern. The problem is that the nudibranchs usually find a way to die. Overflows, heaters, power heads, pumps, filters...etc...
Better to do a check list of why you are winding up with the hair algae problem and try to solve it. ie check your water paramiters, lighting, phosphates and nitrates..etc..

The "Lettuce Nudibranch" is actually not a Nudibranch. They rarely eat hair algae, mostly Bryopsis or occationally Caulerpa.

Thanks I did some more research and have decided that most LFS don't label their stock properly and I don't want to end up with something that will snack on my polyps or zoas. So for now I will try an Astrea snail or two. BTW my parameters are 0 ammonia NO3 NO2 and PO4. DKH is 125.30 and the PH is 8.2 salinity is 1.025. So I am no sure where all the hair algae is coming from but I will win!

Lettuce Slugs are very obvious in appearance. It would be difficult to confuse them with a Nudibranch.
