Well that’s what they told us during training at ***** that pet gold was exclusively by *****.
So maybe they lied? That would explain why its not up front on the end caps in the stores anymore?

There is a saying in vet medicine for the location of the allergic reaction from food allergens...'ears and rears'. Usually food allergies cause inflammation with secondary infection in the ear and around the rear (including anal glands). While I do not doubt that your pug may have food allergies, if the lesions appear mostly on his chest i would also be suspicious that he has a 'contact' allergy (grasses/weeds, etc.).
Glad to here he is doing well now.

I thought that too, (allergic to grass or something) but he goes out and rubs his face in the grass and nothing now. The only thing we changed was his food. Also when we clean his folds, no more crusty nasty skin flakes. Now it’s just dirt from rubbing.
Im glad we maybe figured out his problem, i was tired of smearing creams over his chest and tail.
