Sure! Lets have a president that will not stand for the pledge of alligence, who will not bow his head when asked to be silent, who was muslim and is on the assassin target list for being an ex-muslim. Lets elect a president who goes to a church that condemns America as an abomination, a new president that wants "change" but never tells us what it is. Lets elect a senator that has almost no experience in office, who has no idea where he was officially born and may not even be an American. Sure, lets elect obama.

Why is almost all the people I meet voting for Obama! Obama's lack of expierience, abbortion stand of point, wanting to stop the war, having a pastor who said things like god damn America does not make him a good choice! His middle name is Huiseein (I know I can't spell it), he was raised in a muslim school! They can't even prove that he was born in Hawaii! If he was born in a middle eastern country and not in America he is not allowed to run for president! They havn't even proved it yet! This is under no circumstances a change I can believe in!
I 1000% agree with you and people keep bring up that mccain will die he surived being a prisoner of war, if he does get ellected there is a very slim chance he would die bc hes the president and would have the best medical staff in the world helping him

I understand that in America, freedom of religion is one of the absolute best ideas that we have ever come up with. It matters that he was raised in a muslim school not because of what any American thinks of it, but what the Muslims think of it. Those who abandon their Muslim faith and values are abandoned, shunned and sometimes killed because of it.
Also, How can you be an ex-Muslim in a church that condemns America and still support Israel? (remember - God's Chosen people?)
McCain does have some health problems, however he is still the more qualified, dignified, and honorable person in the Presidential race. Besides, lets just say that the next president is going to die or get assassinated anyway, who would you like better, Biden or Palin? Personally, I think Palin has more balls and can handle the country better then Biden anyway. Heh.

OMG, you really and truly think that b/c he Obama may be an ex-muslim he could be abandoned, shunned or killed?? Gimme a break, what century and country are you living in?? That may be true in some isolated areas in the middle east such as the tribal regions, but in modern areas, this is just not true any longer..

And you and I both know that the majority of people that try to attack Obama using his muslim background are doing it b/c they believe muslims are crazy, violent people, because the current administration has led the american people to believe this. I wonder how many muslim SW hobbyists are on this forum that we interact with on a daily basis or has muslim family/friends. Should we SW hobbyists condemn them or say they are not 'qualified" to own fish??

Have I said anything about hating Muslims? I have plenty of Muslim friends! I'm just saying that there are some extremist factions who may feel that in order to cause the most damage to America, they may kill Obama AFTER he gets elected. (causes more impact) That's just a theory - not sure if I even believe it.
And also, this is America, I could care less what my neighbor does, as long as the government isn't screwing with my sh*t. hehe.

I did not say YOU hate muslims, all I said was the majority of people that use that as an attack against Obama do. There are a lot of extremist factions out there that would love to kill any president, such as anit-gov't groups and the like, yet they also claim to be "true" americans, like the KKK

obama is qualified.most presidends were either senators or governors.
the best president in our history was an actor.
no one man is going to be an expert in all the jobs a presidents job entails.
advisors from thier parties will advise them in dicisions.
i follow politics pretty regularly and democrats almost always have a 8 point lead going into an election and lose.
nothing is over yet.
problem with mcain is he is by nature too nice a guy for dirty politics.
that will probably change soon since the nice guy stuff isnt working.
i am a small business owner and obama scares the hell out of me.
i sure wish thompson would have done better.
who ever get the win he sure has his work cut out for him.

Look at the bright side, you guys can try again in 4 years. hehe
After 4 years of Obama; we won't even have to try. Just like after 4 years of Carter, the Great Ronald Reagan and a Republican Senate were shoo-ins.

I feel that the following picture will add to the intellectual stimulation of a political thread that is clearly beating a dead horse and with out a doubt posted in the wrong forum .
So with out further delay I give you my contribution to this discussion .

how could they know... i mean most of you voted for Bush TWICE and still can't admit how big of a mistake you made. now your gonna vote for McCain and expect something different? it boggles the mind.
the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different outcome. i could see if your GOP candidate was a new fresh thinker but McCain has voted for and backed every important BUSH fiasco.
the Iraq invasion was a mistake. i dont think any rational and knowledgeable american can deny that. WMD's were NOT EVER FOUND in Iraq and there was no current nuclear, biological, or chemical programs running. Saddam was a dictator but he was less dangerous then the north Korean dictator who was OPENLY testing nukes, he wasn't killing nearly as many people as the demon in the Congo and he didn't oppress his woman like they do in Saudi Arabia. his country had no links to or harbored terrorist's ESPECIALLY Al -Queda like the dictator at the time in Pakistan. my point is if we were in the dictator removal business Saddam shouldn't have made the top 5 IMO.
as far as the surge goes, yes OBVIOUSLY more troops equals less violence but the Iraqi government is filled with corruption and in-fighting over power. and MOST IMPORTANTLY there should have been no "surge" because we never should have been there in the first place! the cost is trillions of dollars and thousands of lives.
who's to say McCain won't make the same mistake somewhere else in the world? he thought everything Bush did was a good idea. what about Russia or Iran? he's a hot head and IMO over reacts.
the Economy - poor people getting bad loans didn't ruin the economy o.k. .
de-regulation did. Bush and McCain both thought giving wall street and the banks free reign was a good idea. they basically let greedy bankers and lawyers do whatever they wanted to. and what did they do? instead of giving a poor guy a good and fair loan one that he could actually pay. they tried to rip him off, to them it was a win win situation. if said poor guy pays fine, we make big bucks in high interest. if he doesn't we forclose and repeat the same loan to the next poor chump.
Barack said early on Iraq is a mistake and it wouldn't be as easy or as cheap as everyone thought.
Obama was for more regulation of wall street and again warned the administration that this could happen.

In some ways I want Obama to be president. That way people will know how much of a fool they were for voting for Obama! But, I love this country too much to fall into the trap of Obama, so I'll stick to McCain thank you!
