Does anyone have a picture of occulina coral?

What would the coral that looks just like this only dark green and soft except right at the base be called? I saw some on the beach in Ocean City, Md. and again in a LFS growing on some live rock?

Looks like the one in the first pic or second??
Dark green and soft, but the base was what... like brown and hard??

The first picture is the one I meant. The base was kind of tan or light sand colored.

All the info I can find says they are white, yellow to brown. I can't find a green one anywhere. If it's another type of coral altogether then I don't know...

This seems peculiar. I found a couple bunches of this at the beach last summer. Does sea weed form a shell at the base like coral?
