Tonight after eating I noticed that the lower abdomen is bloated (I'm thinking because he was such a hog at dinner) and now he is swimming very erratic. Could it be constipation? He is excreting fecal matter very, very slowly every now and then.
Is the erratic swimming his way of trying to move the new food through his system?
All the other fish are doing well in this tank and I've had no deaths for months. Water parameters are great and nothing has changed other than I was out of Formula One and gave him different food as I had to go to WalMart today since the LFS was closed and had to purchase Tetra Tropical flakes for color.
This is the only change that I have had.
Any ideas, anyone? If it is constipation - how the heck does one get a fish through something like that?
