The problem with finding a an anemone that the ocellaris clowns accept as a host in the wild, are some of the most difficult anemones to keep. (most say THEE most, not some of the most).
Their natural hosts are Heteractis magnifica; Stichodactyla gigantea; S. mertensii. .
The magnifica gets HUGE (3') and difficult to keep or more so difficult to get a good one.
The gigantea.. Not many success stories past 3-4 years, but the times they are a changin..
The metrensi is rarely collected. Mostley due to its size.. 3'.
If this is your first anemone, I would recommend a BTA. Not a natural host, but being a natural host usually doesnt matter all that much in our tanks.
