Octopus and other fish?

first of all all of you. never buy any fish before reading about it. cuz then people come on these sights and ask questions that they should have known about like that one. i mean i know this sight is for that but come on if youre new to the hobby dont but an octo.

Well you know sometimes people make mistakes, and that is what has happened here.....I wouldn't be too rough on people, after all, at least this person actually asked before just doing the wrong thing. Everyone makes mistakes, just like your numerous spelling and grammar errors on your post.

What kind of Octopus is it? If it has blueish rings on it, DO NOT TOUCH IT. Catch it with tongs and bring it back to the LFS immediately!!!
Read this link:

I recently read on another post about new shipments of this octopus, and have heard of folks inadvertently buying one.
It's extremely dangerous and there is no known antidote.
You get bitten and you die.
Not something I'd want in my tank... or house for that matter.

Hey bbronco....I'm sorry about that comment that Leopard made....I tried to stick up for you....don't worry about him....I just really wish people could remain positive, and try to help instead of making people feel inadequate. Its good that your asking....more power to you.

hey i really didnt mean to make any rude comment about it sorry if anyone would have taken that the wrong way cuz i think i wouldve too. i have made many wrong mistakes the same way and thats what we do and thats why we ask questions. sorry.
