octopus extreme 250 and 300

i'm considering getting the octopus extreme 250 or 300. however i was wondering if anyone knows the actual size of these skimmers. as i want to be sure it's going to fit into my sump before spending the money on it only to not fit in my sump. thanks

Not trying to be a wise guy here, but if your considering these two skimmers, I am assuming you did some research on them. The footprint size is usually on the info page you are reading about the skimmer"s specs.
OPE 250= 16 x 16 footprint, 24 3/4" high
OPE 300= 13 x 17 footprint, 24 3/4" high

actually i did do the research but i'm trying to find out if someone who may actually own it could chime in to verify if that is indeed the true footprint size. alot of times the numbers listed are not correct. and if it's off a little bit the wrong way it would not fit for my system.

No problem! I have the 160 and the footprint is correct for the size required.
