OCTOPUS feeding video

I thought that I would post a video of Clyde being fed a silverside. Clyde is back on the rock to the right of the feeding stick. Once you see him, watch carefully as he changes colors and textures in an instant. It's not the lighting, but Clyde doing the changing. Absolutly amazing in my book. Hard to tell if he is in his hunting mode, or his courting mode, but the changes are something else. Clyde not only gets the silverside, but makes off with the feeding stick. I wonder who I can get to reach in to the bottom of the tank and retrieve the stiick :thinking:

Seriously, that is ONE of the coolest things that I have seen in a very long time!!! Makes me want to go out and get one, but they kinda scare me. I love how he changes color, I thought it was just a shadow from your hand moving the stick, but he changes so fast! Very cool. Haha, looks like he wanted more then just a silverside, looks like he was using the feeding stick as a cane or a crutch lol. Awesome video!

That is one awesome octopus!!!!!! Clyde deffinately wanted more, and color changes...WOW. Looks to me like he was really excited about getting something extra yummy to eat. My 5 year old does the same thing when I mention ice cream.

thanks for that vid. it was awsome! Looking at all the pics and videos on this site makes me want to have 10 diffrent tanks set up.

I'm still here. Finally got my feeding stick back, tough fight, but I won. No video, I had to use both hands to get it back
