i just recieved my Octopus Needlewheel 200 skimmer. question..........can my skimmer be submerged in 15 inches of water or should i use something under it to raise it? if so, how deep should the water level be on the skimmer?
It looks like the same design as ASM skimmer. Plug it in and set the riser tube to appropriate / desired foam results. You don't want the riser tube submerge.

exactly right...tghe octpus is designed for 9 inch water depth.
