Would a Octopus NW 110 work for a 50gal DT+15gal sump = 65gal system?
The tank is going to be LPS only with 5 fish max maby less.
Its also not going to be one of those crazy reef's (i wish) just enough coral for color.
Thanks

It is exactly what I use on my 65 w/ 29gal sump. It does the job fine but I would go a little bigger if I had the sump space.

the 150 is pretty big i just got mine yesterday and its bigger then i thought it would be. and its not like on the pictures either where its like one straight tube, instead it looks like the ASM skimmers. i wish i could of got the 250 but it wouldnt of fit under my stand

your at the upper limits of what you want to use a NW110 with and most certaintly should go for the NW150 if you plan on a heavy bioload. based on the size of the body 60g with a light load and 30gish for an SPS or heavy load tank would be an accurate euroreef type rating (actually a euroreef tech said they'd require a 4" body to adequately skim a 60gallon. there RS80 with 5" body is rated for 80g). NW150 footprint is kind of uneccessarily big because of the pump and output position on the body (about 10"x10") but the skimmer body is 6"x23" or about the size of a coralife super skimmer 220 but shorter.
