Octopus NW-150 Footprint

Is anyone using the NW-150 protein skimmer in a Sealife systems/Proclear wet dry filter? The Footprint of the NW-150 is 10"x9". The outside width of the wet dry is 9.75", if you subtract from that the width of the 2 acrylic tracks used to slide the filter tray it's going to be real close. I wanted the NW-200 but that's not going to happen.
Prior to ordering it I wanted to see if anyone is using it with a similar system. If not, but you have a NW-150 does the width measure exactly 9" or slightly less?
Can anyone suggest another skimmer with a smaller footprint with comparable efficency at a similar pricepoint.

Thank you.

I'm pretty much certain the NW-150 will fit as long as you have some length in it. I own a NW-200, which the company claims to have a footprint of 13.25" x 11.5". Well my NW-200 sits in a 10g which is only 10" wide. If you had 1/4" more, the 200 would fit. It just sits at an angle as long as you have the length to do it. If you really want the NW-200 and have room for a 10g to plumb into you system, buy one and take it to a glass shop to have a bulkhead drilled into it. This route would cost you maybe $30.
