she is eating great so far..silversides, pinfish, live shrimp, a stone crab that ate my triggerfish

ha ha,oops that was mean, huh?Even went to the beach and caught a couplle of fiddlers for her...She is a PIG...even while sitting in her hole taking care of her eggs..

yeah most octopus only live a year to year and a half wild or captive. Also it can fit anywhere it can fit its beak through as that is the only hard part of its body. They are smart to, you can teach it things and it will even problem solve. Id enjoy the limited time you have with it as it probably not long for death as large as it is in that photo.
