Hi,
I have recently purchased a 35gal heaxgon aquarium.I am interested in getting an octopus, but I am curious about the filtration requirements.I was thinking an overflow, sump, and fluidized bed.In addition I thought a live sand and live rock would help with the filtration. Also how do you hook it all up.Any help would be appreciated.

First a little info on the Octipus. They are sooooooooooo good at excaping, there cant be any opening in the tank, NONE! and if there is a lid, place a rock on it, they are pretty dang strong. They eat ALL inverts and fish. They also tend to stay hidden quite a bit. They olny accept live food such as fish or hermits, maybe krill.
Ok, now the tank. GO with LR and LS, get a skimmer, and your set.

Make sure you dont stress them!!!! <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> THEY WILL RELEASE INK!!!!!!!
