i already know about them escapin and everything and u usually find them small and theyre hard to keep but i think i can so im wanderin what size tank? neone on here have one for advice

octos live a very short time. Most of the time they are on the way out when you purchase them. They also are notorius for eating their tank mates.

i had one he did great till he was checking out the filter and got sucked up!!! i had to cut him out of it and he only lived a couple of weeks after that!!!

I kept a couple of octos back a few years ago. The first one died after only two days, then i got a different one and it lived for a couple months until it layed its eggs. It died shortly after that. It was really cool though, it took all the tank decor and drug it into one corner and made itself a den to hide in. It would only come out to eat. He was a good pet, i really enjoyed taking care of it. If you can afford to give it its own tank, then go for it. You'll like it.
