Octopus

I was just wondering if someone could tell me how would a Octopus do in a 45gal tank with a black Lionfish, Yellow tang, Achielles Tang, Flame angel and a Coral Beauty. I don't know much about them. How big will they get, how much and what do they eat.
Thanks

The smallest you could get would not get much over 12" leg diameter and the largest would be a couple of meters. They will attack and kill all the other fish that are not too big. The lionfish might be OK.
Octopus are highly intelligent and should be kept in a species tank.

if you plan on getting an octopus you should know that they have a very low survival rate and are very aggressive. they are EXTREMELY intelligent and are notorious escape artists. i have a friend whose octopus escaped from the aquarium even after he covered it with boards and cinder blocks. i dont recommend them.
