I'm gonna try and get 2 snails today if I can, if not Sunday when I am home.

I found a local store that deals with birds, and all salt water aquariums. I had the lady pick out what she said I needed since I forgot the names listed above. Overall cost was $20 for 10 differant types of snails. I will get a few pics later.

Diatoms. How new is your tank? If something that all new tanks go through and I wouldn't try to fight it.... but a better CUC will benefit you.

Tank is only 1.5 weeks. Only thing in there was live sand and rock. Now there are the snails. Odd thing is, 2 of the snails went right into the sand, under it, and are now MIA.

Several of those snails are probably cerith and nassarius snails which are both burrowers. They keep the sand stirred and nassarius will eat excess food and detritus in the future, they're cool. If you want to summon them at anytime, squirt arctipods in the water LOL... they always come out with food in the water.

Yep, they are. I have 2 turbo snails, 2 star snails, and a few others. Also, sorry if I'm not all in on the names also. I'm a pilot too, and remember all the aviation stuff is in my head right now.
One before I go home for a few days. Going to grab some more live rock when I am home.

That turbo won't do well in your tank..... unless you become absolutely plagued by nuisance algae, and I sure hope you don't. He's going to slowly starve in there being the size he is unless you supplement his diet.
