Odd behavior, is this fish high?

My perc. clown, who I now refer to as Piggy cuz he is one...he/she...I dunno...like...does this thing which looks like he's kissing the heater in the tank...he does it and then flashes back real quick and does it again and again and again. I have watched him do this a lot, for quite a while. Any idea what he's doing? Suicide wish maybe? Trying to fry himself or hoping to get shocked outa the water????? He is very entertaining, thank god, only him and the damsel and crabs left....took the other guys back to the store. just need to get things in order and not gonna with those dang sick fish in there, so the guy who sold them to me can deal with them now. But this clown? Is this 'normal'????????:thinking:

Is there a chance that it sees its reflection in the heater?

Could he/she have ich? Fish wil often "rub" against a heater when they have ich.

Mine does that to the glass sides. I think that he is trying to pick off some pods for food. I feed him pretty good everyday so i really don't know why he would be hungry. My goby does this as well...

I know he sees his reflection in the sides...they are like mirrors, but on the heater....I dunno. He doesn't rub up against it....it's like, this sounds dumb....it's like a kiss sorta thing. I guess he is just in love with the heater, he is a wierd fish, when he sleeps he reminds me of a fishing bobber, and he swims funny sometimes, almost does flips....might be he thinks there is food on the heater, he is such a pig, anytime I open the lid he is right there waiting for food....I can even hold it in my fingers and he'll take it. Maybe he got into some fish nip...and he's stoned!
