ODYSSEA Light?

Does anyone know if a ODYSSEA light is any good? I have a friend selling one and it would be a good upgrade on lightning for my tank. Just dont wanna buy it not knowing anything about it.
It scares me bc the light brand new is $300 with all bulbs and built in LEDs. 2x250 MH 4x54 T5 HO 6 LED moonlights. $300 for it new just seems to be to good to be true. Other brands cost $800 plus for lights like this. BTW its a 48 inch light.

save your money and spend on the right things instead of upgrading. as i read in another thread "Spend nice, or spend twice"

The reflectors and bulbs on these units are complete crap.....i wasted the $, i would not suggest doing this. I upgraded the bulbs in my unit for the time being and they cost more than the unit LOL! Save ur money and get the correct equipment 1st! Led moonlights are cool but u can get these relatively cheap. In this hobby wat u spend is wat u get!

was just asking about this light. never heard of the brand. he only wanted $100 for it bc he was getting out of sw. its not good if the reflectors are trash. Ill just save and get a better light. i got some awesome moon lights already. ill half to look when i get home and ill post the brand.
