one of the mods deleted my first post for a profanity reason.its cool though. well here is what my dog found in the yard.i am keeping him in my 540 tank i have sitting outside .i am thinking of keeping him if i can research what he needs to live .if he will have problems i will let him go on my land and he can go about his merry way.

Aphonopelma Hentzi (aka...Texas Brown Tarantula). They are burrowers so a nice layer or dirt substrate with an assortment of rock sizes, maybe a log or two and perhaps even a little pond area for em. Beatles, roaches or crickets looks like what they eat. My great grandfather used to keep tarantulas as pets, they always creaped me out as a kid though...

Spiders creep me out!
I had a leopard gecko for 1 year before I sold him since I lost interest in him. He was a great pet. He would try to climb the glass, but couldn't. He was very fun to watch and very fun to feed. I look to get one soon......maybe....

well i went to check on the spider and he is dead. i was going to put him across the street on the land.now this is weird.i found him on the bottom on the inside of the overflow box which is 40 inches tall. he climbed that thing. i think he died when he got over the top and fell to his death since there are two big drilled holes in the bottom he could have easily got through.the tank is on 2 by 4's so there is space under the tank.

LOL......yeah....I wished it dead

You channeled him with your negative spidey energy and he couldn't take no more.
Pretty neat though that he figured out which way to escape. Sad that he had to perish in the attempt. What if the wife would have found him ALIVE in the middle of the night somewhere other than the tank? Food for thought...
