oh yeah! i've got feesh too. here's 4 outta the 5. the clown, tang, and wrasse all like to pose- that's why they rule.
the damsel's too stupid to pose. he's also too stupid to get outta the way of my flash. the other damsel is soooo stupid that he didn't even realize i was taking the picture so he's not in the picture. last week his cousin got sucked into the powerhead. that was actually pretty funny.
lessons learned:
1. my feesh are cooler then you
2. damsel's are stupid
:cheer:

your clam does not look healthy . . . its gaping and has a tear in it near the incurrent syphon.

although the clam that you have is one of the less light demanding clams, you still dont really have enough for it to thrive. And the fact that it is torn is not a factor in its favor either.
Do you add DT's or other source of phytoplankton to the tank?
My initial response is that its a goner . . . enjoy it while it lasts.

not really sure whatchoo mean. i was told by the feesh store to get them for healthy coral. i just bought & started adding them about a week ago.
the last tests that i ran were about 2 days after adding all that stuff. alkalinity, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and PH tests were done. the alkalinity was a tad low so i added some of that buffer stuff. everything else came back fine.

The LFS saw a dollar sign on your forehead when you walked in . . .
dude . . . you dont need to add any chemicals other than CA and ALK buffer. Zooplankton and DT's are good benefits as well, but not required.
If you dont test your water chemistry for an additive using a good quality test kit, then dont add it. You can overdose your tank and kill everything in it in a matter of hours.
Strontium, molywhatever and iodine are a waste of money and time as well as risky additives IMO . . . you get all of these elements in the correct proportions from using a good salt mix.
