ok guys I need some coral advice

I have never seen this. alittle back ground I got this coral a couple of days ago very very cheap this thing is HUGE actually over 8 inches across.
here is a pic after it opened up.
the next set of pics is today anyone know whats going on like I said I have NEVER seen a plate do this.

my plate use to do the same exact thing when i spot fed it.. so im guessing it caught a piece of food and started to eat it..nothing to worry about mine would eat its peice of food then fluff back down to normal..

good I have never seen a plate do this and it kinda worried me abit LOL
I got it for $20 but I still didnt want anything to happen to it LOL

Plates like being flat on the sand bed rocks can irritate it and make it close up. None of mine do that when they eat, the centers where their mouths are look like volcanos about to erupt, stick up really high, I expect to see it spew smoke any second

Heres a pic of one i had along time ago right after eating. I did have him on a flat rock, but he kept jumping off.

strangw cause its gotten even more inflated now i guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Inflating with water like that is a good thing

sign of a healthy plate.
