OK, I need some framing opinions here!

so pretty!! he did do a great job on re-creating it for you! hhrrmmm makes me wonder what he could do with pictures of my triggers??? ( im not a photo person and I HATE the cartoony looking fish pictures,, but yours has that real look/better colors that the real thing appearance, lol)

Looks good.. is the other mat cut exactly the same or was it a bit smaller? I would have put the darker on the bottom and then put that purple on top... though I am a professional framer and LOVE the look of double and tripple matted pictures I think you did a great job though!
Thank you! I know its just an amateur mat job, but it still looks decent. Yes,the mat is just a little bit smaller thaen the painting...about an eight inch all around. I wanted to make sure the painting didn't touch the glass. I never thought of double matting with the dark blue. I could still easily do that if I wanted to make the periwinkle thinner. Something to think about,since I still have the blue here...
