okay to stack light ballast

hello just got an established tank from a friend and i was wondering if it would be okay if i stacked 2 of the 3 light ballast, the boxs that power they lights. i have 3 one will sit on its own but the two for the "halide" lights need to be stacked on each other if thats allright. they are about 5x3 3inches deep silver anyone know? thanks

I have no clue for sure but maybe you could maka a spacer.

I would space them so that there is air flow between them if you do. I had 2 ballast from NO lighting in a hood and the heat couldn't escape easily. Next thing I knew, my ballast was oozing out melted plastic....of course those weren't MH ballast.
