Reef I said this guy seems to be a Tea Party of one, did you miss that? I did notice that you left out Robinsons wisdom on AIDs, like I said, you are defending this guy simply because he is conservative. You went right to his website, well you did not watch this guys debate and you also have left out that his home-school material has some pretty interesting things to say about African Americans. I hope Robinson goes back to his compound and maybe next time the GOP can run a canidate that is not a crazy old guy who can best be described with the personality of a cult leader. As for dumping radioactice waste, well this guy does not trust the public school system, yet he is more than happy to trust the government or maybe if where lucky a company like KBR or Haliburton to safely handle and dump that waste? Really.........
I'll let you take the lead on this and volunteer to have Robinson dump a truckfull of his deluded radioactive waste in your backyard first. Don't forget that he pretty much wants to use the whole U.S. as a dumping ground too. LOL

"Is it Tea Party Express or Freedomworks? I'm not sure who our local GOP extemist canidate is affiliated with and he is so nuts it may just be a Tea Party of one in his case."
Your words, not mine.
Also do you even know what "interesting things" his home schooling material has to say about Africans, not black Americans as you stated? It's one book out of over a 100 in the suggested reading called "By Sheer Pluck" which is set in colonial Africa and written in 1873. In the book one of the characters describes africans as having the intelligence of European children. Oh the horror!!!

Your defending this guy just because he is flying the conservative flag Reef, nothing more and it is just like you guys all going off on Oberman, no doubt he is a shill for the far left, of course you totally ignore the fact that all the pundits at Fox are just as bad because they stroke your ego. I don't see a nickels worth of difference between Oberman and Beck or Hannity, because one of us is seeing things a lot more clearly and it ain't you my friend.
I won't defend either party, not worth it and I will give these newly elected canidates 2 weeks before they are actually elected to fix all the countries problems before I start attacking them for any reason just like the Tea Party has done with the Dems. LOL
Sorry, but if I had kids, I sure would not want them reading material that gives them the idea that any race is inferior to any other and things like the public school system keepsthat from happening. You start down that road and you end up with canidates who like to dress-up like Nazi SS troopers on the weekend for fun, oh wait that is another Tea Party person. I wonder what my deceased uncles, one who served aboard an aircraft carrier in the Pacific and another who flew a glider full of Airborne into France would have said about that guy?

Who's defending? I am just calling you on repeating what you read from some blogger without checking the facts. I would want my kids to read about how people used to look upon there fellow humans so they can see how far we have come.
I'll see your wack job Nazi reenactor, and raise you Code Pink, Michael Moore and Alan Grayson who are all embraced by the Democrat party. I don't imagine my Uncle who froze his way across Europe with Patton's third army would be too happy with any of them.
Hannity is Fox's version of Rachel Maddow in that both are partisans who try to spin the facts to their position. Fox doesn't employ anyone with Olberman's skill set, Lying through his teeth.

Darth, I can't wait till you guys start having to defend the these canidates that get elected when they start looking for birth certificates on our dime. I provided a person who is a GOP canidate who is on tape saying he wants to get rid of the public school system, every Tea Party person I know of is running on the GOP ticket so......
Fishtaco
Just because someone was on the ticket does NOT affiliate them with the tea party movement and the views held by that group. McCain was on the GOP Ticket, does this automatically make him part of the tea party? Just because the GOP assimilated themselves with the Tea Party does not mean ever GOP candidate is a tea partier. I gave Obama 3 months before he started pissing me off after he was elected. I gave the democratically held congress 2 years before they (inconjunction with Bush) Started truly pissing me off.

OMG! I was watching Obama speaking a few minutes ago. What a disgusting pig. "I like to hear good ideas wherever they come from". Really? You haven't for the last 2 years. Are people really stupid enough to believe this clown? If he want's to have a shot at being elected in 2012 he'd better do a 180.

Yeah, I saw it too:

I was going to add this to this thread but got side-tracked before I could dig it out...thanks for posting it.

I think once Comcast takes over there are going to be some changes that might not include this goober. It's cool to have a few opinionated people in the mix but when your whole on air staff minus one are blind partisans it doesn't work out real well. I'd dump this guy and keep Rachael Maddcow. Matthews is really boring now too. They should throw Ed Schultz on in his slot if they still want to be the left wing network.

I actually listen to rachael madcow...even if i do disagree with her 95% of the time....she is the equivalent to Rush for the liberals.....

Poor guy would still have a job if he worked for Murdoch.
Fishtaco
Never thought Obimann was a rocket scientist but I guess he was too dumb to read a simple clause in his employment contract.
Supposedly Joe Scarborro had made a contribution and some of the CNBC guys have made contributions as well but they don't seem too interested in going after them. Not sure if Comcast wants Obi gone before they take over or maybe it's just a marketing ploy to try to get earned advertising from all the news stories.
He wouldn't have gotten at trouble at Fox because only the hard news reporters are bound by the stipulation that you can't engage in electioneering. Oberman wouldn't be considered hard news at fox.

Did you catch her going off about Evan Bayh on election night? I swear if she had something in her hand it would have been thrown through a wall. She was indignant that Bayh would give up a senate seat and then dare to criticize Democrats. I've watched her several times as well, she is generally pretty honest from what I can tell. Does just like Rush, twist and spin the facts but ultimately they aren't flat out lying, just reach some "interesting" conclusions.

I think MSNBC should replace Obie with Maddow's former Air America partner, Chuck D from Public Enemy. That would be awesome.

I dunno, there were some serious losers on Err America. Don't know about Chuckie but it was no accident it lost money from the time they started it.

I dunno either, Maddow has done pretty well for herself and this other guy named Franken managed to get a pretty good job.
Fishtaco
Frankin will be one and done as a senator. His election was a vote against the Republicans as much as a vote for him, probably more. So out of how many people the bright spot is Maddow? That isn't saying that much. Obimann has higher ratings than her.

He got a job in the state where we elected a Governor that named himself "The Body". Anyone can get elected in that state....I wouldn't be surprised to see "The Situation" form the Jersey shore move here and get elected senator in the next 20 years.

I think NBC is in the right with the policy of anchors/hosts not being allowed to endorse political candidates, and their decision on Olbermann. The idealogical bias is always gonna be there, and they may all be crazy liberals, but they're not going out of their way to support a candidate with money or tv time. That's more than I can say for Fox which doesn't have such a policy and seems like a Republican candidate pageant come election time.

Fox goes far and above what ANY other network does as far as providing people from both sides of the issue being discussed or reported on. Just because they are willing to give a perspective that is missing in 90% of the rest of the media doesn't mean they are in the tank for Republicans.
As far as Obimann something else is up with that. Their lone conservative, Joe Scarborro has also made political donations and they didn't touch him. Not sure if they are trying to clean house in advance of the comcast takeover or what. They might want to dump their most polarizing people like the Obi and Ed what's his name. Certainly isn't fair.
