If i had old rocks that had manjos and asptia on them and i boil them, would that get rid of them for good on those rocks or will there be a lingering effect?

If you boil the rocks, I believe you would get rid of any and every bit of organism in or on them. Then you could "seed" them with some other live rock or sand.

Seems that I have read that boiling live rock will compromise the structural integrity of it.

Henry I have absolutely not proof of this BUT I do know boiling water will dissolve minerals. That being the case if you boil rock you can in fact dissolve the minerals and make the rock more porous and thus diminish its structural integrity or so it seems to my simple mind

Agree here sir. Seems like I read it in one of those "What does it mean to cook live rock" threads.
