old salt

i found some salt from last summer, its pretty much a brick, but is it still ok to use? thanks

you had me goin there for a minute... lol
i asked one of my friends whose been doin sw tanks for a long time, and he said it still should be fine.

ive had some old salt before. some air got into it and hardend it. i dont know if any air got to this salt. i also do not know much about old salt.

I used some old stuff...just pound it on the floor and it breaks up back ito grains. There will be some chuncks though that maybe suoer hard and i have found that these dont dissolve like the rest(they dissolve into grains when put in water but they never completely dissolve into the water they just become osrta like sand or something.)
