Old Salt?

Is it possible for salt mix to go bad. I have a 25g tank. I bought a bag of salt mix that makes i think 50g of SW. I've had it for probably 2 months now. I do 5g waterchanges and the last couple times it seems to take an awful long time to dissolve. I used to make it on saturdays and change water sundays. Now, it seems i'm having to wait till tuesday or wednesday. I mix in a 5g bucket with a PH and heater. Also, the salt in the bad is hard now. I have to break it up everytime i use it.

Yes salt can go bad so I would buy a new bag. It’s hard because moisture in your salt I buy a bucket it will stop that from happening.

i think its fine but im a newbie too. keep your salt closed tightly and away from the tank and it wont get hard. i havent had a problem w/my "old" salt. i dont keep anything older then 9 mos. thats my option, maybe some experts on here will have some help
