I seen you post a pic and some info on a royal urchin in another post. That is also called a tuxedo, right? Got a few questions--I had pincushion urchins that ate coraline like crazy, seemed to be their favorite! (did not like the white spots they left, even if that did spread spores and it would grow back). How does that type seem to do with coraline? Where does it mostly graze, I guess all tanks will be different. Problem is: I have short (very short) hair algea on the sand bed, does or will it graze on the sand bed? If not, anyone know a good invert that does? TIA

I bought some sand sifting cerith snails form this site and they do a fine job on the sandbed. I also picked up a few fighting conches a while back, and they do climb the glass. My older ones don't  WEIRD!

OK thanks, I guess I have queens then. Look the same to me. Besides how big they will get and that they climb glass, any other way to tell them apart?

One of them has a rough edge somewhere. So yes you can tell them apart, and I used to know how until that brain cell died from too much detritus build up.;)

Ok, thanks. I must have queen conches also (learn something new everday). I have 2 in a 75, glad I only ordered 2 now. I do see a dark tan pointy foot-like thing, they use it to "stand" kind of and move when a fish is too near. So, that may be how to tell the difference, unless they both have this. Thanks again.
