Who is your LFS? I'd like to go punch him for taking advantage of you. That's seriously what it sounds like. Almost every price you have listed has caused my jaw to drop, and not because I think you just got a great deal.
What do you keep your Specific Gravity at? I keep mine at 1.025, but anywhere between 1.022-1.026 is fine for your tank. What you really need to worry about is keeping it constant. If your buying your saltwater you might want to pick a lower SG for your tank say 1.023 and just dilute the water you get so you’re always adding the same levels and it doesn't fluctuate. It's easier to add water, than to add in salt. Mixing salt and then dumping it into the tank is really stressful for the fish, and I always let my water sit for at least a day with a heater and a powerhead in a tub before I add it to my tank.
Glad you found out the hard way about the damsels. I'm actually surprised you got any money back for them.
I would join a club in your areas; clubs are amazing ways to get information on the hobby and to get help. Explain your situation with the wheelchair and post watch lists so if any other club member goes out and see's something you want for a price you want they can pick it up for you.
Many clubs including mine trade corals and breed fish often times giving them out for free.
