Mine was as "dumb" as yours, always got stuck in the filter, but I moved the rock around and hasn't since then. You'll know if its alive or not, what does it look like now?

Mine was nothing but a blob of flesh. Found it in the morning and have a feeling it had happened quite awhile ago. Not a pretty sight!!
