NM nicely said.
Stealing is this: If you know the round-about price of something and it is marked/or you were told a price and it's way off, and you by it. Then it is stealing.
If you have no clue at all....and then you come to this site and ask the question, "Hey is this a good deal" and you find out this way, then you did not steal and it instantly becomes an integrity issue.
This is part of the morals & values, this is where it begins.
If some one says: "you would do the same if I was in his shoes" This is a defence mechanism that justifies their inner ability to make inappropriate decisions. This erodes personal integrity and leads to other types of poor decisions.
In life, we are to do what is wright, not what we want. Temptations are all around and how we respond is what makes the difference..............
I am sure he will make the right choice for him.
