I had a similar experience.
I purchased 30 1-gallon jugs of RO/DI at Wal-Mart and caught some strange looks. I told one lady grimacing I was thirsty. I thought of telling another that the end was near, but she looked like the type that would take me seriously. Then on the way out a guy was looking at me funny, then smiled, and said, "saltwater fish tank eh?" I said, "you got it buddy!" My wife pulled up to the curb and opened the hatch and said, "I must love you" as she helped me load 240 lbs. of water into the car!

I used to live in an apartment and one night around 8:00 oclock I was cleaning out my fire place and geting all the ashes out now I was in a three story apartment building I was on the secound floor. Well My wife got off of work about 9:00pm and got home around 9:10 My wife was just putting down her purse and telling me how her day went When I heard a knock at the door. I went and awnsered The door Two cops where standing Thier with thier hands on thier guns (guns still in holsters) The said, Are you alone Sir. I replied my wife just got home she is in the living room. Then one of the cops ordered me to stand aside. The other oficer entered my apartment and went and started asking my wife questions in the other room. the cop at the front door told me to remain by the door as he asked mequestions he started asking if My wife and I was fighting and that the had a report that some one heard a women scream (no let go of me) and then there was a loud boom. at this pooint when the cop was telling me this another cop came up the stairs and entered my house I assumed he went into the other room where my wife and the 2nd cop was. I told the cop i was talking too that my wife had just got home about a minute befor they got thier and he told me the call was made right after 8:00 I told him I had been cleaning the fire place and that could of been the large bang but I hear no women scream and told him it was probably one of my crazy neighbors. well after the cops left I asked what the two cops said to her she said only one cop came in and talked to her. she never saw the third cop. we wnet through our house and noticed all our doors to our bedrooms opened and our closet doors and bathroom doors and even our dreser dwars had been open. we fiiled a complaint but never got a reponce back from them I still wish I had sewed them this was about three years ago

Should of complain to the local mayor. Keep up with the phone calls, you could of gotten somewhere. I got quite a few government workers in trouble cause they were being rude with me. They were being very nice to me and was working with me on everything afterwards. It was with the local beer & liquor license boards, they were making smart comments, even the director made some smart remark I over heard, I wrote their names down and made a complaint to the mayor. I kept on calling them to get the results and they said they had a talk with'em. I can care less if they're working for government or they're cops, etc. If they did something wrong, they should pay for it. Always go to their higher up boss for results!!! :happyfish

Are you sure they were real cops? Sounds like a good way to rob someone.

Im pretty sure, they where very arrogant young cops. Also one of them Ive seen come into my work to get coffee about 6 monthes later he did not reconize me. I was tempted to give him decaf but realised that i should be a better person than that.
