I stopped watching before Collin Quin but I am certain that my parents have VHS after VHS of songs that I recorded from about age 12 and up. I LOVED Headbangers Ball at about 15 years old. I used to have so many tapes filled with videos from that

I don't think even half of the kids my age or younger know what the letters MTV stands for or that they actually had music at one point. it's kinda sad, i bet mtv was pretty cool a long long time ago

MTV was real cool. Your post reminded me though about ESPN. Does anyone know that ESPN stands for? I remember when it first came out and watching some of the ping pong matches on it. Or The American cup (sailboat racing) I never did understand the rules to Australian football.

Entertainment & Sports Programming Network....I think....
I remember when it was more sports, and less news.

You are correct sir!
Most people think it is Entire sports programming network. But they wanted the Entertainment part because they were not sure they could have a netowrk devoted completely to sports.
Wow...that was just a wild stab, but I thought I was close. Do you remember the Wide World of Sports......"agony of defeat" with the high jump skiier busting a *** coming down the ramp? Man, those were the good shows....

Oh yeah! Looking back they showed the weirdest stuff, but at the time it was great!
In fact that reminds me I have to get my beauty sleep for my big golf day tomorrow......
