I finally realized after wasting 3 minutes of my life that the charcoal and making soda were meant for removing the odors. I just wonder if I was the only one that was dumb enough and read that and thought "what is wrong with the way charcoal smells?"

I'd have to imagine a dead human body has to be the worst smell ever. I've never smelled one and don't ever wish to, but I have smelled dead carcasas of "road kill" which is awful, and can't fathem the smell of that. They say people who do crime scenes or medical examiners have to change their clothes and shower because the smell sticks to their person after they leave the presence of the body.

Live rock after it's been in a bag, in a closet closed up for a week. We, umm, kinda forgot about it. No way was I living the lr behind, packed it with shoes and wet clothes, completly shocked it made it through customs and the airport. The trunk of my friend's car smelled horrid, that's a good friend for ya though.

I shudder to think of how bad that smelled. I know what game smells like when you first kill it, and I still can't get past that. You know when you cut open the sac to remove the guts. I just vomited a little in my mouth, I'll be ok. But Reefforbrains that had to be absolutely horrible.

I have a friend who actually works CSI Miami-I think its Broward County. They got called out to investigate a horrible smell that was coming from a car. The car had been parked for seven days, the smell, well that was a dead dog that had been in the car, baking in that South Florida heat for seven days. They deal with dead bodies constantly, he said all of them were vomitting.

Try cleaning up several thousand decaying cricket carcasses.
I had to clean the generic 55 gallon bucket cricket container when I worked at *****. There was usually about an inch of gelatinous, stinky, dead crickets caked on the bottom.
