I've heard of it, but I NEVER thought I'd see it!!! All this talk of anemones musta got to my clown!! I had him since he was 3/4 inch long, and about 2 nights ago he decided to host with THIS!!! He isn't just coincidentally in this spot, he is doing the whole rub up and down, snuggle!

Clownfish will host to many things my Clowns have used the sponge on the powerheads as hosts:eek:

lol thats a fuzzy host. since my brother taps on the glass right infront of my feather duster ( hes 17 ) it doesnt contract to movement. ive seen my clowns swim threw it.. i think that would be cool for them to host it

my clown sleeps around.:eek:
he's hosted in a shaving brush plant, by a powerhead, and now in a little atoll in the rocks. talk about getting a reputation around town....

Why the "congrats"???
If it is a she, then she is still a baby, like only 6 months old. And she is the only "False perc" I have. The other is a Clarkii/sebae (? still undeturmined definitively, but I still think it's a sebae).
She can't be pregnant, can she??? The other is MUCH bigger, but about the same age. AWE geez...

I ran out and I shot the pics, I didn't care about clarity.
But his...or her belly doesn't look big anymore. Could she have just been constipated?? LOL
And reefy, I thought it was a Sebae also, but a person on this forum was positive that it wasn't. So I just don't know anymore. He said there is a clear pic of each in the "Clownfishes" book. If anyone has a pic??

wow. u dont know what ur talking about. go to ***********.com and look at clownfish. sebae and clarkii are 2 different types of clowfish! clarkii is from the Coral Sea. and the sebae is from Sri Lanka . what now?!?!

You guys better agree to disagree, if this thread gets closed cause you 2 want to argue about it, we will have issues. At least wait til we get more opinions first. THEN you can argue all you want!!:D

how can u still disagree. every feature on the clarkii is the same as ur clown, notice how the clarkii has 3 white stripes not 2?????

stubborn... well anyway IMO and IME its a clarkii. the top fins are different and sebaes have 2 white stripes not 3. anyway im going to bed.
P.S. its a CLARKII :D
