On my way!

are u sure u wanna go with the skilter 250, cause i have the skilter 400 and personally if i had a tank that size i would go with something like a sump or a canster filter, but there is 1 good thing about sumps and larger filters, you can hide the heater in the filter , however i just dont like the fact of in order to have filteration you have to have carbon, what if ur not doing reef and you want to treat with copper , the carbon will take it out or u have no filteration, just some food for tought

misty, i think everything in austin is more expensive. =) both my bro and sis live there, but here in houston, with $400 u could easily get a 150 gallon with nice stand and hood included, maybe even cheaper, shop around some.....

Cruise - you are really going to like this tank. Don't forget a good skimmer for your predators :)

slk3599,
The tank looks great. Can't wait to get mine set up.
The lfs where I put the deposit on the tank called me back and said they misquoted the price. Instead of $399 it is $499. It was suck bull, they had the same tank there less than a month ago for $399. Oh well, I went to get my deposit back. I went to another lfs and now I'm getting a 75gl Oceanic for $470 instead. It should be in on Monday. I'm getting anxious. I'll let you know how it turns out.

It's expensive where I live for a 55-gallon stand, metal, it's $100 and everyone knows u can't use that on a saltwater tank. I think your store should move to my neck of the country.
Peace
