On TV right now

On the Science Channel right now is a 1 hr show about the Great Barrier Reef (lot of Coral discussion so far)

I watched it last night. Sucks about the crown of thorns huh? But i was thinking about those huge skeleton fields of dead coral and the green algea growing on it, isn't that still a great place for tangs. I mean, lots of creatures like algea.

I don't know if it was the same show or not, but one thing that I learned was really interesting. They showed a bunch of parrotfish (I think) attacking a reef and basically eating the corals, and then when they pooped, they would poop this crushed up coral. This crushed up coral is what we call sand! So basically, we are lining the bottom of our tanks with fish poop!
