One cool fish!

Anybody looking for a cool fish could do well with a scooter blenny! I got mine about a week ago, and I am quite amazed at the character traits of this little guy.
He comes right to the front of the tank whenever I come in the room. He is always on the go, poking around the rocks and sand.
You need a tank with established LR. (The picture on this site really doesn't do the scooter blenny any justice. He really is quite an attractive fish.)

Clint, that's really cool that you like your scooter blenny a lot. I never had one, but he sounds like fun. I just thought that I'd say it's really cool that you posted a thread just to show your appreciation for your new friend.

I like Scotter and Lawn Mower Blennies a lot. They do have a lot of personality, and they are two cool fish, I agree.

scooters can be hard.. they need pods to stay alive.. def a tank with lots of live rock and good pod population... the lawnmower is a lil different, doesn't rely on pods but more on algae. but still requires a lot of live rock to graze off of.

scooter blennies should be kept only in tanks larger than 90 IMO in order to be kept properly fed.
They only eat live pods . . . maybe cyclopeeze if you can get them to eat it.
